TRANSFER - Solihull Moors extend Boyes loan until end of the season

Solihull Editorial 4th Jan, 2022 Updated: 4th Jan, 2022   0

SOLIHULL Moors have extended the long-term loan of Sheffield United defender Harry Boyes until the end of the season.

It means the 20-year-old will remain with Neal Ardley’s side for the rest of the 2021/22 season, automatically extending for any potential play-off fixtures or FA Trophy final participation.

Boyes has been a mainstay in the team recently, with his performances helping Moors keep six clean sheets in his 10 appearances since he regained his place in early November at Wigan Athletic.

A threat up and down the left flank, Boyes notched his first Moors goal with a fine solo run and finish in last month’s victory at Maidenhead United.

In total, the left-back has played 13 times in all competitions since arriving from Bramall Lane in the summer.

He is the latest loanee to extend his stay at the ARMCO Arena, joining James Clarke who signed on the dotted line last week.

There is no recall option in place for Sheffield United as the loan must run window-to-window.
