SOLIHULL Moors have added versatile full-back Ethan Vaughan to their ranks on a one-year deal.
Vaughan, 19, is comfortable playing at right-back or left-back and provides additional competition to Moors current defenders.
Formerly of Cardiff City, Vaughan came through the academy at the Bluebirds having joined at the age of six.
He departed last summer and is now looking forward to embarking on his new adventure with Moors.
Vaughan said: “I can’t wait to play in front of the fans and repay the Gaffer’s faith in me. He was my academy manager when I was at Cardiff, back when I was eight or nine.
“Hopefully we can go that one step further this season and push for promotion – that’s something I really want to be a part of and aim for.
“I like to get forward and get crosses in, and I’ll always give my all for the club. Hopefully the fans enjoy what I like to give on the pitch.”
Manager Neal Ardley added: “Ethan was recommended to us by a trustworthy source.
“We have had him in training with us and have been in the market for competition for places at full-back.
“He fits the bill perfectly being able to play both positions. We are delighted to welcome Ethan to the squad.”
Vaughan has been allocated the squad number 16 and was an unused substitute in their draw with Southend United last weekend.
