TAE KWON DO: SHIRLEY Tae Kwon Do Club are celebrating the addition of six new black belt grades following a successful grading in Bristol recently.

Irina Guy, Sunny Jagatia, Marcelo Dudzin, Michael Jeffs and Paul Woodcraft were all awarded the coveted first dan black belt, whilE Anil Jagatia was promoted to second dan.

All students train under three times World Champion and International Instructor with the TAGB Steve Merricks who said:

“It’s a unique situation for an instructor to have six students going for black belt dan grades all at the same time.

“They had all prepared well and trained extremely hard, putting in extra training along the way to reach this level.

“I am proud of each one of them for the commitment and dedication they have shown to get this far in their training.

“It doesn’t stop now however as this is just a milestone and I will be pushing them hopefully to even higher heights in the future”

Steve will be holding free trial sessions throughout June at his club for anyone interested in joining. Further details www.shirleytkd.co.uk
