NEW manager Tom Reynolds has announced changes to his backroom staff ahead of Earlswood Town’s forthcoming campaign in MFL Division Two.
Luke Evans and Tad Elder have been brought into the club to assist Reynolds during the 2019/20 season, both being colleagues that he has built up a solid rapport with.
Evans has extensive experience in the Midland Football League pyramid, having been involved with youth coaching at Highgate United and Racing Club Warwick – in addition to Southern Premier League Central side Redditch United.
It was at Warwick where the two became acquainted, with Reynolds then captain of the Racers, as Evans stepped into a joint caretaker manager role, helping lead the club to sixth in MFL Division One in 2017.
He was mostly recently involved with Feckenham in Division Two last season, and now aims to help guide Earlswood further up the table this term, after finishing bottom of the division last season but being saved from relegation by a reprieve.
Meanwhile, Elder – a former captain of Cadbury Athletic and Pilkington, has coaching and managerial experience in Sunday league football and will add further expertise to the dugout, while long-serving physio Paul Maguire continues his role for another season.
