Moors Women announce friendly programme to formally end 2020/21 campaign

Solihull Editorial 29th Mar, 2021   0

WHILST the season may be over for Solihull Moors Women as far as life in Division One Midlands of the FA National League is concerned, April and May is set to provide plenty of action for David Healey’s side.

Eight friendlies have been announced in all, four in April and four in May, starting with trips to Newcastle United and Aston Villa Academy on April 11 and 14 respectively.

Birmingham City’s Academy are then the visitors on April 18, before Moors head to Leeds United a week later on April 25 to conclude the first round of friendly fixtures.

Moors kick off the following month of matches by welcoming Salford City on May 9, followed by another home outing against Hashtag United on May 16.

Successive away trips to both Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers on May 23 and 30 respectively then conclude Moors’ friendly schedule – which acts as an end to the 2020/21 season – prior to the summer break and pre-season for the 2021/22 campaign.

While the clashes with Newcastle and QPR are both pending due to the Magpies’ cup and Rangers’ league commitments, Solihull are still chasing an additional friendly on May 2 – and ask any interested clubs to get in touch at [email protected]
