KIRSTEN Strain, Barry Elkington and Hilary Simpson led a successful and enjoyable weekend for Octavian Droobers Orienteering Club members in the New Forest.
Organised by Wimborne and Wessex Orienteering Clubs, the popular two day Caddihoe Chase Weekend at Godshill, near Fordingbridge, Hampshire attracted nearly 600 entries from around the country.
Strain won her W35 class on day one and took second place on day two while Elkington was second on both days in the M65 category. Simpson (W80) also clocked up second places.

The autumn local programme of events start on Saturday (September 25) with several orienteering races in the afternoon around Cracks Hill, between Crick and Yelvertoft.
