KYLE Morrison has become Solihull Moors first summer signing after the defender put pen to paper on a two-year deal.
The 27-year-old won promotion to the National League last season on loan at Kidderminster Harriers from AFC Fylde.
Morrison previously spent time in the Midlands with Alvechurch, Halesowen and Leamington and conceded just 12 goals in 18 appearances during his stint with Harriers last term.
Morrison said: “I’m buzzing to get this over the line.
“It’s a club that’s local to me, one that I’ve always looked at and thought ‘I want to play for them,’ so yeah, I’m buzzing.
“Last season was my first taste of promotion, now I’m coming here and ultimately, that’s what I want again – I want more.”
Moors boss Neal Ardley added: “Kyle is a centre-back that we’ve liked for a while.
“He’s very quick and very strong in defensive duels and one-on-one situations. He’s a very good communicator and we wanted to get him in early and integrate him quickly into the group.”
And Morrison’s former club Fylde also achieved promotion from the National League North last season as the centre back made nine appearances for the title winners at the start of the campaign.
