KNOWLE FC are preparing for their first game of the new year against local rivals Hampton FC in the Midland Football League Division Two.
Both clubs have been without a fixture since December 18 last year and are looking forward to this weekend’s fiercely competitive local derby.
Knowle were beaten 1-0 at home by Fairfield Villa in their last outing which has seen them fall seven points behind leaders Cadbury Athletic with a game in-hand.
Manager Clive Seeley expects to have a couple of players missing for the crucial derby clash but remains confident of securing a result.
Hampton sit in 12th place, just above the drop zone, having taken 15 points from 16 matches so far this season.
Entrance is £2 for Adults and Concessions £1.
Knowle’s match at Hampton takes place on Saturday, January 15 with kick-off at 2pm at Field Lane.
