KNOWLE & Dorridge skipper Sam Reddish says confidence is high going into this weekend’s big Birmingham League Premier Division clash against high-flying Shrewsbury.
In what will be an exciting encounter on Saturday, K&D are expected to name an unchanged side following their resounding 117-run victory over rivals Dorridge.
K&D’s Alex Phillips crashed 106 off 144 balls for the visitors, who finished on 260-8.
Jack Grundy then took 5-38, taking his wicket tally for the season to 33, as Dorridge were skittled out for 143 in reply.
“It was a great performance, especially after coming off the back of the defeat to Berkswell,” said Reddish.
“Alex played a great game which gave us the foundation to set a good score.
“Jack was superb with the ball and took another five wickets which was really pleasing to see.
“We have got a bit of momentum going now for what will be a really though fixture at Shrewsbury.
“We will have to play slightly better to beat them but we are confident in our ability so we shall see what happens.”
