SOLIHULL Barons take to the ice against visitors Milton Keynes Thunder in their first pre-season friendly on Sunday (5.30pm).
The Thunder, who compete in South Division One (Britton), provide the opposition before two meetings with South Division Two (Wilkinson) side Haringey Huskies.
The home leg will be played at Solihull Ice Rink on Sunday September 1 followed by the away leg a week later.
A new set-up to the Moralee Division means that Solihull will form part of a seven-team league, with the Barons also set to be entered into the Midlands Cup, ensuring action most weekends until the end of March next year.
Off the field, the club have brought in forwards Callum Bowley, Ruskin Hughes and Tom Soar and winger Rich Slater, helping compensate for the loss of Niklas Ottosson, who is set to miss the majority of the campaign through injury.
Following their three-game pre-season preparations, the season then gets under way with a home fixture against Billingham Stars on Sunday September 15.
Ticket prices remain at £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £29 for a family, two adults and up to three children.
