Two attacked with bottle in Solihull town centre

TWO MEN have been taken to hospital following a bottle attack in Solihull town centre.

Police were called to Poplar Road just after 3am on Monday (August 16) morning to reports that two men had been injured after being attacked with a bottle.

Inspector Alec Wallace from Solihull Police said: “The men aged 35 and 25 were taken to hospital to be treated for physical injuries which are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

“A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene in connection with the assault.




“Although the motive is unclear we believe this was a targeted attack.”
