TIME is running out for charities and community organisations to apply for funding from Jack’s supermarket in Castle Bromwich.

The deadline for applications is July 11 so any groups wanting to put themselves in the running should apply now.

Four successful organisations will be selected to receive £250 and then customers will vote in store for the charity they want to receive an additional £250.

Store manager Laura Cerrone urged people to spread the word as there were so many charities and groups the supermarket wanted to help.

“As charity fund-raising has been massively affected by the current situation, we are delighted to be able to help some really important organisations in the local area.”

Organisations that have previously won can re-apply including schools, sports teams, care homes and other local groups.

To nominate a worthy cause, go to  jackssupports.org.uk/ and complete an application form to apply or nominate a good cause.
