THIS PHOTOGRAPH shows Britain’s teenage tennis sensation Emma Raducanu when she finished runner-up in the under nines Solihull International Tournament.
It was shared by Mark Carroll, the general manager of the Solihull Arden Club.
He said: “Speaking to a few of the members, they remember her from the tournament.
“We have had quite a few players take part in our junior tournaments, including Andy Murray, Steffi Graf and Boris Becker who won a junior tournament.
“It’s phenomenal when you see the names who have played here.”
Raducanu became the first Brit to win a grand slam in 44 years and the first ever qualifier to take one of the top titles when she beat Leylah Fernandez 6-4, 6-3 in the Arthur Ashe Stadium, New York, on Saturday.
