VETERANS in Solihull got their nose into a good book to mark World Book Day.
Residents at The Royal Star and Garter Home went to the in-house library to pick up a novel before taking part in a quiz.
The home, which cares for veterans and their partners living with disability or dementia, has book clubs and activities around stories as part of their daily activities.
Pauline Shaw, director of care at Royal Star and Garter, said: “Whether it’s reducing stress, improving memory or allowing people to connect, the benefits reading brings to our mental wellbeing is well known, and is an important part of the holistic care we provide.”
