REMEMBERING the vital role former pupils and the town played during the First World War will be at the heart of discussions on Monday (November 10).

Solihull School is set to come alive from 6.30pm as School Archivist, John Loynton and Tracey Williams, Head of Heritage and Local Studies at Solihull Library commemorate those who took part in the Great War.

The free event at the Warwick Road School forms part of a month-long series of activities taking place at the School including the annual wreath laying ceremony on Remembrance Day, a careers talk for pupils with members of the Armed Services and themed lessons.
