A SOLIHULL carer has been praised for sharing her passion for the piano with like-minded clients.
Katherine Hubbard, a caregiver with Home Instead Solihull, plays the instrument during visits with Mrs Lloyd.
Home Instead says the time they spend together brightens up their day, and for Mrs Lloyd, it also brings back many happy memories of playing the piano with her late husband.
Katherine, who has been a career for just under a year, said: “When I was nine years old, I learned to play the piano at school which inspired me to learn and perform Frank Sinatra songs for my dad. I love performing with Mrs Lloyd, as not many people can say they can take their hobby to work with them.
“I have always enjoyed working with people, it’s something I just love doing.
“I never feel as if I am going above the call of duty, as I thoroughly enjoy doing everything I do for my clients.”
