Sarah Mason 4th Jul, 2022

A SOLIHULL man was set to appear in court after another man was found dead in his home in Smith’s Wood.

Slawomir Tumilowicz, aged 37 of Chelmar Close, has been charged with murder by police and was due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court.

The ambulance service contacted police on July 1 at 12.04am to say that a man was in cardiac arrest.

Following treatment at the scene he was taken to hospital where he died.

West Midlands Police said: “Specially trained officers continue to support the family of the 38-year-old man who died in hospital.

“A post mortem examination was not definitive and further tests will be required to confirm the exact cause of death.

Our investigation into his death continues.”
