BIG-HEARTED Shirley schoolchildren went spotty in honour of Children In Need.

Pupils and staff at Kingswood School raised £250 for the charity on Friday, November 13, with their non-uniform day.

Jenny Wells, assistant head of the lower school, said: “Everyone at Kingswood made a huge effort for our non-uniform Children in Need fund raising day.

“Staff wearing spots, stripes, ears and Pudsey T-shirts.

“The children had a great day joining in with Pudsey Bear activities throughout the day, learning about the importance of Children in Need.

“A big thank you must go to parents, pupils and staff for making the day such a success, we’re extremely proud of you all.”
