Queen thanks Solihull schoolchildren for hard work in message

Solihull Editorial 3rd Jun, 2022   0

THE HARD work Solihull schoolchildren did in the run up to the Queen’s Jubilee was given the royal seal of approval.

Coppice Junior School welcomed one of Her Majesty’s Deputy Lieutenants for the West Midlands, Clive Stone, to the school.

He went on a tour of the school, spoke with them about the work they were doing linked to the Platinum Jubilee and answered their questions.

The pupils also shared a dance they had practised from one of the decades of the Queen’s reign as well as details about the 1950s playground games they had learnt.

The school said: “The pupils were in awe of his uniform and the message he shared from Her Majesty herself which was to say thank you for all the work the children and school were doing to help her celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.”
