COMEDIAN Peter Kay will be stopping off in Birmingham during his first tour in 12 years.
The 49-year-old will be bringing his nationwide tour to the Utilita Arena on December 17 and to Resort World on March 23.
In 2017 the 49-year-old cancelled his last 14-month tour at short notice due to “unforeseen family circumstances”, leading to widespread speculation about the comic’s health.
He said: “It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now.
“And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010”
His 2010 tour, The Tour That Doesn’t Tour Tour, still ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time as it played to over 1.2million people.
