Paterson victims - Alan Bridgewater lost his wife Denise at the hands of rogue surgeon

Solihull Editorial 4th May, 2017   0

Alan Bridgewater’s wife Denise – who died in 2014 – was another of Paterson’s victims.

Denise was given a cleavage-sparing mastectomy by the rogue doctor in 2004.

Her cancer came back in 2010 – almost certainly because of the unapproved techniques of Paterson.

She died just four years later.

Speaking to the Observer Mr Bridgewater said he has a lot of hatred for Paterson.

“Denise was the Rolls Royce of wives and she would still be here today if it wasn’t for that man.

“I want justice for Denise, our children and grandchildren – justice for what she went through and what all his other victims went through.

“Nothing, however, can bring her back and no amount of sorry from him will change that.”
