MOTORISTS are being warned about roadworks on the A4141 Warwick Road between Arbour Tree Lane and Wheelers Close in Chadwick End.
The road will be closed for five nights for resurfacing between Tuesday, May 2 and May 10 – the exact nights have yet to be confirmed by Solihull Council.
The works will take place between 8pm and 6am and diversion routes via Honiley, Balsall Common, Hampton in Arden and Knowle will be clearly signposted, including an alternate route to The Orange Tree pub.
Night closure of the road is required to minimise disruption to road users, businesses and the local community while maintaining safety to road users and the work force.
The Council apologises in advance for any noise generated and inconvenience caused as a result of these essential works.
