Nature trail set to open in Castle Bromwich this weekend

Sarah Mason 4th Mar, 2022

NATURE lovers are being welcomed to spot some wildlife in Castle Bromwich this weekend.

A new nature trail will be opened at Castle Bromwich Hall And Gardens this Saturday, March 5.

There will be plenty on offer at the Big Parkland Celebration Day from 11am until 3pm including a scavenger hunt, bug trail and crafts.

There will also be the chance to find out a little more about the plants and animals found at the Chester Road site.

A local bird ringing group will also be on site in the morning from 9am until 11.30am.

The project received funding from a number of partners including Solihull Council and the Green Recovery Challenge Fund to turn the site into a grassland and wetland site for all to enjoy.

The event is open to all and free to attend.
