A SOLIHULL cricket club have announced they have secured a new sponsorship deal with long-time partners, John Shepherd, for five more years – the longest ever in the club’s history.
The sponsorship has allowed Knowle & Dorridge Cricket Club to continue to invest in the club, its infrastructure, and its future.
Club Chair Ian Maddocks said he is excited to have extended the sponsorship.
“Our relationship with the team at John Shepherd has been long and fruitful. Members of the club have used the excellent services of John Shepherd for several years, and they have played an important role in supporting our ongoing development.
“This partnership has always been based on mutual trust and love for the Knowle & Dorridge area, two key things that still form the heart of this new sponsorship deal.
“John Shepherd has grown significantly in the last few years, with acquisitions and mergers across the West Midlands. Likewise, the club has progressed with its development plan, growing our membership, and expanding our work with the local community.
“We both play an incredibly important role in supporting the people of Knowle, Dorridge and Solihull. This new partnership will allow us to continue to do so for more years to come.”
Richard Crathorne, CEO of John Shepherd said: “John Shepherd have always supported local community clubs and sports teams, none more so than Knowle & Dorridge Cricket Club.
“By securing this new sponsorship deal we wanted to show both our continued commitment to the club and the people in the local area – to make a real impact for the local community.
“Knowle & Dorridge Cricket Club are a perfect fit in so many respects – our future visions are the same – we both want to grow and succeed and to be the best there is in our area.”
