Jaguar Land Rover worker died after accident at Lode Lane plant

A JAGUAR Land Rover worker has died in an ‘industrial accident’ at Jaguar Land Rover in Lode Lane, Solihull.

Other staff administered CPR to the man who was said to be in cardiac arrest after being injured on Sunday afternoon (June 18) at around 3pm.

West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene and were unable to save him. He was confirmed dead a short time later.

Jaguar Land Rover said: “We are deeply saddened about the death of one of our colleagues and our thoughts are with the individual’s family and friends at this difficult time.




“An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding this incident and we are of course cooperating fully with the authorities involved. We have nothing further to add at this time.”

The Health and Safety Executive and the Coroner have taken over the case.
