JAGUAR Land Rover says it is creating 500 new jobs at its Solihull plant.
The Lode Lane plant has teamed up with employment agency Randstad to hire a fleet of new production operatives due to global demand.
Randstad say the latest recruits, who will be employed on a long term ongoing assignment basis, will be working on some of the company’s most recognisable vehicles, including the new Range Rover.
Jack Dowden, regional manager for Randstad Inhouse Services said: “Jaguar Land Rover’s Solihull plant has successfully continued to produce its world-beating vehicles during the global pandemic and then a global semiconductor shortage.
“This presents an amazing opportunity for us to recruit 500 new associates and production operatives.”
