AFTER a two-year wait the Heart of England singers are ready to start rehearsals ready for their next concert.

The choir, lead by conductor Margaret Croucher, will be performing their first show since Covid hit at Solihull Methodist Church on Blossomfield Road on April 9.

From 7pm there will be a range of music including a 15th century piece entitled Agincourt Song, All in the April Evening by Hugh S Robertson and Purcell’s Hear my Prayer, O Lord.

David Griffiths will accompany the Singers on organ.

The choir is welcoming new singers to turn up and join them in rehearsals on Monday evenings at Land Lane Free Church, Marston Green from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 for those over 16 and £5 for under 16s.

They are available from Helen via email at [email protected] or choir members.
