A FUNDRAISING page has been set up in honour of a much-loved Solihull influencer who tragically died in a crash.

Paige Rice died in the early hours of October 17 when the car she was a passenger in was in collision with a taxi in the Queensway tunnel in Liverpool.

Merseyside Police said it was contacted at 12.25am following reports an Audi S3, travelling towards Wirral, had been in a collision with a taxi inside the tunnel.

The force confirmed a 22-year-old from Solihull died in hospital following this incident.

A man in his 20s who was driving the Audi remains critically injured, while the taxi driver is in a serious but not life-threatening condition.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up so her family and friends can give her ‘the send off she deserves.’

So far the page raised almost £30,000 in 24 hours – with £5,000 being donated from former Aston Villa captain and England star Jack Grealish.

The Manchester City midfielder took to his Instagram, writing “RIP Paige” underneath a family photo released following her sudden death.

He also added a crying face emoji and a broken heart in the touching post.

The page was set up by Charlie Millard who wrote: “Anyone who had the pleasure of having her in their life can understand how tragic this.

“She was such an amazing woman with such a clean heart who had so much love to give.

“Anyone she met she had a huge impact on and a smile that would light up any room.

“An inspiring woman who had so much life to live and goals to achieve, she has left so many with empty hearts.”

Tributes were also paid to Paige.

Emma Cross wrote: “Paige was a beautiful soul in side and out we had the pleasure of her at our salon and we loved every moment we shared with her, she was down to earth kind caring wild funny and just a beautiful person anyone who met her always commented how stunning she was and so nice to everyone she meet rest easy Paige u will be truly missed”

Samuel Round said: “Paige was so kind hearted, loved by many and will be missed by everyone she met.”

While Michelle Wilson added: “Rest in Peace Paige, heaven has certainly gained the most beautiful angel.”
