Fun day at Tudor Grange park to raise funds for HHHO

PREPARATIONS are well under way for a Help Harry Help Others (HHHO) fun day at Tudor Grange park this weekend.

Event planning students from Solihull College have been working tirelessly to organise the 1km fun run alongside a number of stalls and activities on Saturday (May 6).

From 11am until 3pm there will be plenty on offer including a bouncy castle, food and entertainment stalls and dance schools performing.

Registration for the Fun Run opens at 11am and will start at noon.

Funds raised at the fun day will be donated to HHHO which supports those with cancer and their families.

Brave Sheldon youngster Harry Moseley who died on October 8, 2011 at the age of just 11 and after a four-year battle with a brain tumour, began selling bracelets to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

His campaign – and his unique personality – led to massive sales of the bracelets and the support of a whole raft of A-list celebrities who bought and endorsed his efforts.

When Harry lost his brave battle his heartbroken mum Georgie and a team of friends took up the batton in his honour to maintain and grow Help Harry Help Others to help children and their families who are battling the disease.
