FESTIVE fundraisers are urged to get into the Christmas spirit to help raise funds for the homeless.

Solihull BID is hosting a 2.5km Jingle Bell Jog around Solihull town centre on December 15.

The course will see runners, dressed in their finest Father Christmas outfits, set off from Mell Square at 9.15am then through the town centre before heading back to the finishing line in Mell Square.

Registration is open to both adults and children.

Everyone who completes the course will be given a Santa suit, a Santa medal and a voucher for a free hot drink and mince pie as well as an exclusive Mell Square reusable branded water bottle.

Alongside having plenty of fun, the entrance fee will be helping to raise vital funds for the Change Into Action charity.

Change into Action gathers donations to support the specialist organisations already working with homeless people in Solihull, and helps to get people off the streets and back into the community.

Runners are asked to arrive between 8am and 9am for registration and to collect their santa suit.

Entrance costs £12 for adults and £6 for children aged between four and 12, plus a booking fee.
