SMALL businesses across the region joined forces with tech experts to find out how digital transformation can help them deliver at a much higher level.

The West Midlands Digital Skills Partnership, part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) teamed up with Birmingham Tech to showcase the role technology plays in business transformation.

Small and medium-sized enterprises were also given the chance to speak with companies and individuals who have benefitted from taking part in digital training.

Clare Hatton, director of employment and skills at WMCA, said: “Digital skills are critical to increased productivity in our businesses.

“Through our training providers we now have a fantastic service for businesses, providing them with new talent and training to improve the skills of current employees.

“The support of our Digital Skills Partnership has been instrumental in helping us create an offer that is current and relevant.”
