THE SEASIDE is set to arrive in Touchwood this weekend.
A beach with its own spades, buckets and deckchairs will be at the shopping centre once again this summer, bringing with it a taste of the quintessential British summer holiday for all to enjoy.
Sun worshippers will not only be able relax and entertain the kids in the seaside inspired setting from Saturday (July 21) but they will also be able to take advantage of enjoying a summer holiday experience without having to travel very far.
The beach will be officially opened on Saturday at noon with a beach party with stilt-walking flamingos, bubble artists and special guest appearances from Octonauts’ Captain Barnacles and Kwazii.
On Sunday (July 22) Phil Sayer Trio will entertain visitors as part of the Solihull Sort Of Jazz Festival from 2pm.
