BICKENHILL and Marston Green Parish Council has submitted an application to Solihull Council to designate the parish as a Neighbourhood Area.
The application comes as the Parish Council prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for the area to give local people the opportunity to have more influence on future developments within the area.
If the application is approved by Solihull Council, the Parish Council will be able to start planning the Neighbourhood Plan for the area.
A public consultation on whether the area is appropriate to be designated as a Neighbourhood Area is now underway.

Comments on the Neighbourhood Plan should be submitted to Solihull Council by 5pm on March 1.
