CARERS from Solihull enjoyed the sand, sea and sunshine on a trip to Western-Super-Mare.
Carers Trust Solihull treated those who look after loved ones to a day out to mark Carers Week which ran from June 6 to 12.
Around 100 carers and their families hopped aboard the coaches and headed south to bask in the weather.
Peter Masters, volunteer fundraiser for the Trust, said: “This outing would not be possible without the generous donations made by Eversfield Preparatory School and Olton Golf Club Ladies Section. In addition, all of the refreshments for the journey were kindly donated by Asda Chelmsley Wood.
“And we decided it would be really lovely to take them all to the seaside,”
Over the years, Carers Trust Solihull has seen increasing support from Solihull Council and has be able to support to all ages of unpaid carers.
And Carers Trust Solihull say help from local people and businesses is always invaluable.
