Car stolen in Knowle after owner threatened by two men

A MAN was threatened by two men in Knowle who made off with his Audi A4 after stealing his keys.

Warwickshire Police has launched an appeal following the robbery in Knowle, Solihull, on Thursday evening (March 14).

Warwickshire Police said: “At around 7.45pm, a man was walking to his parked car in a layby on Haywood Lane, when two unknown men approached him.

“The men threatened the victim and demanded his keys, before stealing his white Audi A4.




“It’s believed they drove the vehicle off in the direction of Shrewley

“The victim, aged in his thirties, was not injured.


“The offenders are described as two men in their late twenties, who were dressed in black, wearing their hoods up.

“There were no weapons seen.”

Investigating officer, detective constable Sarah Niblett from Warwickshire Police, said: “An investigation is currently ongoing and we are linking in with bordering forces as part of our enquiries.

“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or a white Audi A4 being driven suspiciously in the area, to please come forward.

“If you have any information, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 350 of 14 March 2019.”
