CELEBRATIONS were the order of the day when the 72nd Birmingham Boys’ Brigade Company celebrated its 72nd anniversary.
To commemorate the occasion the group held a 72 Years of the 72nd birthday celebration and many ‘boys’ from across the years attended.
A couple of the oldest attendees were some of the first boys of the company.
There was plenty on offer at the celebrations including a display of photographs, videos and memorabilia covering annual camps and a band.
The opportunity was taken to get a photo of the captains who were able to attend.
Jamie Collett, company captain, said: “It was great to see the event attended by so many former leaders and member and was testament to the impact BB has on so many boys lives.”
The company meets on a Tuesday evening at Shirley Baptist Church and currently has forty boys aged between five and 17 years old.
