THE BLYTHE Valley homes site manager has been handed a top industry award for the second year running.

Gary Dyas has been named as a winner in the first round of the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards 2021.

The accolade has been awarded in recognition of his work at the Bloor Homes development Bloor Homes at Blythe Valley.

Gary has previously won an NHBC award for the development in 2020 and this year he is one of just 450 site managers selected from thousands across UK to receive the award for achieving excellent standards in house building.

A Pride in the Job award is the most prestigious industry accolade a site manager can achieve and the winners of the award will now go forward to compete for the Seal of Excellence and Regional Award titles, which will be announced in September.

Paul Degg, Regional managing director at Bloor Homes Midlands, said: “I am delighted that Gary has been recognised by the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards for his hard work and dedication at our Blythe Valley development.

“The Pride in the Job Award is one of the most highly regarded competitions in our industry, which demonstrates how our Site Managers, and their teams are delivering the highest quality possible.”
