Birmingham Dogs Home names puppies after World Cup players

Solihull Editorial 17th Jun, 2019 Updated: 17th Jun, 2019   0

BIRMINGHAM Dogs Home has welcomed a litter of 10 puppies who are supporting England’s World Cup journeys in cricket and football.

The Catherine-De-Barnes centre has welcomed 10 healthy puppies who were born just in time for the ICC Cricket World Cup and also the Women’s Fifa World Cup.

The home has five boys and five girls, almost enough to have a side themselves.

The staff called the boys after some of the England Cricket ICC World Cup squad and the five girls after the England World Cup squad.

The boys are Morgan, Jonny, Woakesy, Woody, and Roy.

The girls are Millie, Abbie, Leah, Keira, and Ellen.
