A BARN dance raised £1,900 for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Solihull Group.

Live music was provided at Earlswood Village Hall by Fiddlers Elbow, comprising a caller, fiddle player and accordion player.

Debbie Jones, whose father had MS, organised the event.

She said: “I know first-hand how it affects not only the person, but also their family.

“The MS Solihull Group offers such wonderful support, so I know the money will be put to very good use.

“I’d like to thank all those who helped organise the event, Fiddlers Elbow for providing the music, all those people who came along, and the local businesses who donated such fabulous raffle prizes”.

There are currently around 130,000 people in the UK who have MS, with 7,000 new diagnoses each year.
