A REAL treat is in the festive offing for panto lovers this Christmas as The World’s Biggest Pantomime comes to the Barclaycard Arena.
Introducing the wonderful tale of Cinderella with a twist, the Barclaycard Arena will take guests on a spellbinding journey of love, friendship and adventure in a show that is bigger, funnier and more fabulous than you’ve ever seen before.
With a cast of over 100 performers including celebrity funny men Bradley Walsh and Paul O’Grady, and children’s TV stars Dick and Dom, the World’s biggest pantomime will run from 20-24 December 2015. Fun for all the family, witness spectacular performances, including a visit from Santa Claus himself, plus stunning 3D mega vision special effects!
The show will be set on the world’s largest panto stage featuring a 50 foot high castle which sets the scene of this iconic tale, where Cinderella hopes she will meet her Prince Charming and escape the clutches of the two ugly sisters and her wicked step-mum.
Enter stage left, Bradley Walsh; well known for helping folk catch The Chaser, he’ll be on hand to cheer up the mistreated Cinderella as the lovable Buttons.
Fairy Godfather Paul O’Grady, known for filling in the Blankety Blanks, also arrives with a little magic up his sleeve. Will he make Cinderella’s dreams come true and win over Prince Charming – Richard McCourt (Dick), and sidekick Dandini played by Dominic Wood (Dom)?
Quick, the clock is ticking… Join them as they experience the spectacular thrills of life outside the walls of her stepmother’s house, where they encounter stunning arrays of aerial acrobatics, gospel choirs, Bollywood and Street dancers and many more festive surprises.
The show has been written and produced by Jon Conway, one of the industry’s most renowned pantomime producers, producing over 400 pantomimes and devising shows for BBC TV, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Las Vegas showrooms, and concert tours all over the world.
