POLICE have released this image of a man they want to speak to over an attempted assault on a PCSO in Solihull.

It happened outside a convenience store in Bluebell Drive around 2.15pm on Saturday, April 3.

Two PCSOs spotted an off road bike that had recently been reported for causing anti-social behaviour in the area.

As one of the officers was making enquiries, the rider came out of the store and got onto the bike.

When the PCSOs tried to speak to the rider he swung his arm at one of the them before driving at the PCSO.

Fortunately the officer was unhurt.

The rider then made off towards Clover Avenue.

Anyone who knows who the man is in the picture or has information on the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Alternatively, submit details via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk.
