All welcome - Berkswell Windmill open to visitors on Easter Monday

THE historic Grade II Listed, Berkswell Windmill is to open its doors to the public for the first time in more than two years on Easter Monday.

Visitors, families and friends are all invited for the afternoon to enjoy a cream tea on the lawn and a guided tour of this internationally renowned mill.

The Address is Windmill Lane, Balsall Common CV7 7GY.

There will be lots to see and do including the Coventry and Warwickshire Spinners and Weavers demonstrating the ancient craft of spinning and weaving with sheep’s wool!




John, David and Yvonne will all be there to tell people about the history of this Warwickshire tower mill which was built in 1826, on the site of a Post Mill (wooden mill).

The owner has records of the Mill from the 1700s and believes there was a mill on this site since the 10th Century.


Doors open from midday to 4pm and entry is £5 for adults, children free and admission includes a guided tour of the windmill.

All proceeds go to the upkeep of this listed monument.
