WHAT a disgrace that a gang of youths should have little else to do that they turn to scratching grafitti onto 20 innocent people's cars (Observer page 3, August 9).
Teenagers are always complaining that they have nothing to do and often blame their criminal actions on their suppose boredom. Total lies.
Just because you are bored does not excuse this kind of behaviour that will cost the vistims thousands of pounds to repair.
Respectable, nice people would not turn to crime because they were bored. They would find something interesting to do with their time. There are snooker clubs, youth clubs, sports clubs, cinemas and restaurants who would be more than happy to occupy them.
