TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of killing a toddler.
Police were called to a property on Nightingale Avenue in Castle Bromwich just before 5am on Wednesday, February 20 following a report of a child who had collapsed.
A boy, aged 19 months, was treated by ambulance crews but they could not save him.
A 25-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were initially arrested on suspicion of wilful neglect but both were subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder.
They have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
