SICK child porn pervert Nicholas Beaumont-Dark has dodged jail after admitting making and distributing indecent images of children as young as six months old.
The 50-year-old married father of three of Vicarage Hill, Tanworth in Arden has been given a 12-month jail term, suspended for two years after admitting downloading 393 indecent images of children and distributing 388 images through a file-sharing network for fellow online perverts.
He was ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years, was made the subject of a sexual offences prevention order for seven years, ordered to attend a community sex offenders group work programme and hit with £1,200 costs.
Passing sentence on Beaumont-Dark, Judge Richard Griffith-Jones said: "You pleaded guilty at the first opportunity and you have had entrenched personal problems.
"None of that, however, diminishes your culpability in allowing yourself to join an internet club of perverts.
"Because they are infants, they have no one to protect them, they are completely vulnerable. You and others got sexual gratification from seeing it, which is frankly impossible for many of us to get our heads around at all."
The court heard Beaumont-Dark, son of former Selly Oak MP Anthony Beaumont-Dark, downloaded images including horrific abuse of babies and young children between January 2011 and January 2012.
There were images of a six-month and 18-month-old baby girl being abused while other children in the images were aged up to 13.
Beaumont-Dark downloaded 50 still images and 30 movies at level one, six still images and 57 movies at level two, four images and 14 movies at level three, and 40 images and 192 movies at the more serious level four.
His home was raided in January 2012 when police seized his computer.
