THE HALLS of Arden School were filled with the sweet smell of orchids as the Solihull & District Orchid Society hosted its bi-annual show.
Enthusiasts from the society and neighbouring organisations descended on the Knowle School to battle it out for various titles and to pass on their passion and knowledge of orchids to interested visitors.
Observer photographer Neville Collins captured these images of the event.
