Man charged with murder in Chelmsley Wood

A MAN has been charged with murder after a stabbing in Chelmsley Wood.

Police were called to Craig Croft shopping precinct at 5am on Sunday (November 11) where they found a 24-year-old man with a single stab wound to the chest.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, he died a short time later.

Last night (Monday) detectives charged a 24-year-old man with murder and he is due to appear at Solihull Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday).

Police are yet to formally identify the victim.
