Waitrose Knowle gets the go-ahead

BOROUGH planning chiefs have given the green light to plans for a new Waitrose store in Knowle.

The decision brings to an end years of debate and discussion about the development which will see the creation of a new supermarket on the disused bowling green behind the Red Lion car park, improved parking and traffic flow and improvemenst to the Village Hall.
