A MAN has died after being hit by a car near Balsall Common.
Police were called to the incident on Kenilworth Road at 7.45pm on Friday (November 2).
Officers and ambulance crews arrived at the scene minutes later and found the pedestrian had suffered serious injuries.
But despite best efforts by medical staff, the man could not be saved.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Kenilworth Road remained closed until 12.15am while the vehicle was recovered and police carried out enquiries.
Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call 101.
