A MOTORCYCLIST has died after crashing on the Solihull Bypass.

The incident happened last night (Sunday) at 10.30pm on the A41 near the M42 junction.

A spokeswoman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Crews arrived to find a man who had come off a motorcycle and was in cardiac arrest. CPR was being carried out by passers-by who had stopped to help.

"Crews took over resuscitation attempts but despite their best efforts nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased.
